This signature project was completed in April 1999, three months ahead of schedule - an OECF, Japan Funded Project. 

The scope of this OECF, Japan, funded project included - Design, Build. Water intake and Plant water system package for the Bakreshwar Thermal Power plant

• Pre-treatment, filteration, demineralization & waste water management
• Construction of Intake Pump House with complete pumping machinery ( electro-mechanical)
• Twin MS Cross Country Pipelines = 38 Km long
• Construction of 72 MLD Raw Water Treatment Plants
• Construction of 60 MLD DM Plant
• RCC deck Slab bridge on Chandravaga River, Construction of 20 km Bituminous Macadam Road , Switchyard, 16km electrical transmission line and 6.6 KV Under Ground Cable for over 4 Km were the other components of this project.
